I insist that from a 'standstill' according to this 'timed' test, the p1 was a lot faster.

Come on gents! This back and forth claims without proof adds no value to the discussion - it is just "he said, she said" and smoke and mirrors. Any published test results or data from any source (even discredited British sources) will be welcome to determine which car is faster under what circumstances...

Remember well when Auto Car figures for P1 posted here all mclaren fan boys were sad and Auto car was bad and SS was crazy now they are GOD in the eyes of P1's fanboys, hum

The video will be on show together with EVO and TG h2h videos, or maybe together with Mclaren Ring record of 6:30??

 

I don't think they will release their ring time anytime soon, according to the latest autocar article p1 is way faster at high speeds and has a lot more grip.

My guess is maybe they will release it 10 years from now to compare it to the 918's successor.

After several defeat it is understandable for us your feelings, just like a child, hum, by the way auto car results is no legit to us because it is opposite to the real tests by more reputable magazines , I am happy because I was a participant at a h2h between the two and I am 100% sure about the result,
AFTER dozen and dozen of times defeated and nightmares , your childish behavior is understandable

 

CH ,motortrend, autocar and ss are all conspiring against you and your people. They are part of the 'cult'.

 

Remember Porsche is almost always ready to give a 918 even to the British mags! but Mclaren is almost always refused to give a P1 to a non-british mags, Kudos to people at EVO and TG for publishing the real figures
