Ferrari LaFerrari vs Mclaren P1 vs Porsche 918

OK, so it's really 7-8s. Big deal. We both think it's less than 12s and we both know it's probably more than 6s as well.

Why is launching the car in a straight line with signficant battery charge at full throttle in Sport mode not equally as fast as Hot Laps mode? What's the car doing differently?

First P1 was the King of Ring, then after defeating they said it is dangerous, then they said P1 is the king of any track except the ring, again after defeat and defeat at Spain(TG H2H) and Evo h2h, now they are back with a man like SS (He is no a legit driver even in the eyes of mclaren fans ,you say no just back to earlier pages here!)

Well, in a recent drag event in the UK, a LaFerrari beat a Veyron quite easily and they reached speeds of around 340 km/h.

that LaFerrari beat a veyron not so easy, it was a very close drag race,
And of course La Ferrari is La Ferrari with a Ferrari V12 NA, not a Nissan/recardo turbo engine,
LaFerrari is faster than Veyron ss from 0-300, P1 is not

You do realize that it was a stock, first gen Veyron racing the LaFerrari? LOL

P1's engine (M838TQ) is a McLaren engine, produced in partnership with Ricardo (not Recardo). It won the 2014 Engine of the Year 3.0L - 4.0L category and came 8th overall. Ferrari's V12 didn't make the top 10.

 

According to autocar's previous official test, the P1's high speed acceleration figures were:

0-170 mph:14.9 sec
0-180 mph:18.0 sec
0-190 mph:21.4 sec

Did they perform new 0-200mph acceleration measurements during this test for both the P1 and 918?

I think no-one is denying that P1 may have the upper hand during high speed acceleration, but where does the the "slighlty above 20sec and 30sec" 0-200 references come from?

Yes now I remember that veyron was 1001hp, Realzeus claimed in a way I forgot about it,
I saw with my 2eyes Veyron SS defeated P1 and maybe it can defeated La Ferrari as well!

Also about the P1's engine it is based on a Nissan engine as you know! I don't say it is bad but it is not made by mclaren itself ,

 

What I find interesting is the mention of high speed downforce grip advantage in the p1 over the 918, not surprising considering the difference in aero, downforce and weight.
However isn't that what the N ring is all about? High speed twisties?

you know very well, that 918 unlike p1 has 0,5G braking force through lifting the pedal only... Too early to talk about longevity due to this...
