I am pretty bad at posting pics, but I will try to start making amends.

Got to do some speedos and locations(where am I) and VIN pics for various folks.

Just been so darn busy these past few months ........

    Emilio,

The first sets for the Mondials were available at your choice either in full leather, or in half leather / half "cloth with Cavallinos" ('Scusi: cavallini)

And, as for oddities, I love to post that one from time to time!
So sorry because this is a repost...but just to show that there ARE some color oddities:

I do, whenever I have the occasion: there is nothing more satisfying that "travelling in style".
I have a 328 set in "Tan" for my 328 GTB, and a "Turbo" set in Black for my 328 GTS: that one is the most convenient of the two, with the big case that is a kind of "holdall" for everything.
The only trouble is the zillion flakes from the liner that is decaying...you better wrap your shirts, underpants etc...in bags before putting them inside of the Schedoni luggage!

Style has its cost, n'est pas?

Are they as efficient a way to pack the car as one would hope?
How much of a beating to they get from the heat?

I would say, as I wrote above, that the "big case" of the "Turbo" set, which is the exact size of the two long cases of the usual 328 set, is really convenient. But you can't really pack enough clothes for more than a two/three days trip, if it is a travel for two persons with a lady...if you are travelling "cowboy" style, with economy of clothes, well you can extend it a bit...
I didn't notice any trouble for clothes in the bags from the exhaust heat when travelling at legal speeds on our roads, which means "Gran Turismo" driving rather than "sporty"...

What you need is a GT/4.
    :)

Even without the rear luggage shelf there's plenty of room.

Sexy luggage would be cool though.

I have both the prancing horse set, (2 suitcases, 3 briefcases, one document folder) and also a complete 308/328 tan Schedoni set.

I have used them in the TR. I don't think you can get as much in that car any other way. The 328 space is shaped such that getting a couple of conventional pieces in there efficiently using the space isn't hard.

    Thanks.
Fitted luggage is for cars with stowage space limited by size and or shape.

Having said that, how long until someone makes a set for an SUV?

    Thanks.

Speaking from personal observation its amazing how someone who in her youth could do a two month trip with nothing but a small backpack now requires Sherpa assistance for a weekend.

I always thought the US And euro set are different. ( due to the difference in depth of the trunk) What is this set for? Who can tell?

no, there was only one set
(in the lower US trunk, you had to put the two long cases one above the other ... tight fit)

one of the four pieces, the "curved top shoe case" came in two versions (but that had nothing to do with US or EURO)

the Bonhams` set estimate is too low -
I think it will fetch around EUR 2500.-/3000.- (US 3500.-/4000.-) ... we`ll see
