    Hey guys,

I have a few questions regarding my F430. I would greatly appreciate your responses.

    1. What is acceptable voltage reading of battery before starting. I have noticed that without battery tender I get a reading of 11.7 - 11.8 volts. If battery has been on a tender I get 12.3- 12.4. What is the minimum acceptable voltage reading?

    2. Replacing wiper blades. I ordered new wiper blades and want to replace them this weekend. I have noticed that the driver's side wiper arm is tucked in behind trunk lid and this makes it hard to lift enough to get them replaced. What is the easiest way to replace wiper blades? Would it be easier to operate wipers and stop them while they are in a vertical position?

    3. I would like to know that my car doesn't have TPMS system. Looking at the owner's manual I should have a reset button under dash just left of steering column. I can not find the button. Any other way to tell and verify whether I has the system or not?

    4. Assuming my car doesn't have TPMS. Can any reputable tire dealer replace my tires? I have challenge style wheels. In addition to tires, should they replace valve stems and or seals?. Will tire dealers have access to whatever they need? Or should this be done by ferrari?

Thanks for your responses to any or all of my questions.

    Edgar

    1. I would guess the car will start under 12V but I prefer 12 or above.
    2. I would stop them in the upper position for better access and avoid possible paint damage.
    3. You should be able to scroll through the display menu to see if you get tire psi readouts.
    4. With or without tpms any competent tire place should be able to replace your tires.

Where in Alabama are you located?

You need a new battery. Here's a list of battery voltage and state of charge:

    12.66v . . . . . . . . . . 100%
    12.45v . . . . . . . . . . 75%
    12.24v . . . . . . . . . . 50%
    12.06v . . . . . . . . . . 25%
    11.89v . . . . . . . . . . 0%

While you're at it, have the alternator checked as well.

    Edgar,
What year is your 430? I think that TPMS became standard in 2008.

My 05 has TPMS. Like Tally Ho suggested, scroll through display readout and see if you get readings.
