What's the deal with this car? Is this the equivalent of a 599 Aperta, despite the 599 Aperta was built in much higher numbers? Do you know anything about the name and what's the purpose of this car? F60 was the "other" name for the Enzo. What I'm getting at is, whether or not Ferrari will make an F12 model like the 599 GTO and finish with an open top F12
Don't know how to upload, but here is also an interior pic. I love it. I hope they will make more F12A's for lesser mortals who can only afford cars from a few hundred thousand Dollars/Euros..... Ferrari F60America afbeeldingen : Autoblog.nl

Beautiful. I expect that Sergio is going to make something very similar more generally available without the special name.
I personally love how the F12 platform is the launching point for all these flights of fancy and design experiments. All sorts of interesting historical design cues running through this one, and not just Ferraris -- I think it is very different to the TRS. And that interior! Not even sure what to make of it, but something very retro about it. I keep thinking American Graffiti and roadside diners. I think its great!
It can look really good in a single tone color. An Argento Nurburgring with red leather seats (both of them!). Or that blue but without that stripe.
If this can be ordered without the Captain America colors it's great. If not... it's definitely positively overdone.
Not entirely sold on the interior or the racing stripe, but the exterior body styling is great. That's the nose the F12 should have had from the start.
It is very different and unique but i was expecting something really different...in many ways. It's not what i expected for a 60 years collaboration.

I guess they deliberately choose bizarre color schemes for their launch photos to sell more of that tailor made stuff, but probably most of the cars they sell are not so weird like these.
You have said it all, exactly. That said, Georg Kacher, Automobile Magazine's European Bureau Chief, conjectures on a future down-sized, down-market Ferrari 458 variant that he presumes to designate a 456T, with a turbo V-6 engine, base price around $200K (without the mandatory "options").
