    Can anyone provide a close up and / or description of the yellow triangle emblem located at the top of the air hose going into the air intake of the plenum? I have attached a picture from the internet from a 1986 328. I have seen this on several 328s of different years and was wondering what the emblem is signifying and why some cars have it. Maybe possible replacement? My car (1988) is original and does not have one. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    All 308's and 328's had the same hose thus the emblem would be the same. Mine has it, I'm just not with my car today...otherwise, I'd get you a pic ASAP.

    I went down this road. Trouble is that it seems printed on and not stuck on like a sticker.

    It is a glued on sticker. Otherwise it would not have come off the duct on my car. Clearly left a spot on the duct from the old adhesive.

    All this talk got me to finally print out the one I have been working on. Just put it on the car. Not too bad, I think. Oops. Just noticed the misspelling. :( Little more work to do.

    Thanks everyone for the quick responses. I have been searching the internet unsucessfully for any information or supplier. Hopefully, someone will find a source for the decal.

    Here you go. All fixed. Anyone who wants it PM me with you email and I'll send you the bitmap file for printing. I printed it in an self adhesive label and cut it out.

    I have never seen such a sticker on a 308? Did they start putting them in the later year 308s?

    I'd venture they started no earlier than about 1980.




    (Edit: OK, I see you have a carb car. This is a fuel injection part.)

    Also, if in your travels you find the real sticker is a little darker in color let me know. I can darken the color a little.

    Agree, it looks like an injected car part only. I guess for some 308 excludes carb'd cars. Just joking, you never know what any individual car may or may not be missing whether from the factory or not. Just part of the fun.

    I've got two of these from previous 328s. One has the emblem, one doesn't appear to have ever had it. Will look closely to confirm. These cars keep you guessing.
