Still compares well with $3m for a slightly modified F12.

Don't feel the thrill I felt looking at the TRS for the first time. TRS looks way better but that's just my feeling.

... and for that money ... Not special enough if you ask me.

What a huge piece of overpriced garbage. $2.5M and they can't even design your a roof that can be driven over 75mph? What a joke.

2x the price of an LF, 90% the same as an F12, 50% less usable than either.

Totally agree that it is not rational to buy this car. However, perhaps buying Ferrari's have never been about rationalism...

In my opinion the car looks cool. Nice color, cool adjustments to the already beautiful F12 design.

    Forget the price !
2.5, 3 or more, who cares ? If you have 10 -and certainly more - buyers at this price, what's the problem ?
    I love it!

Because it's a half-assed attempt. They'd have the same 10 buyers if they did something worthy of the price as well.

So now they've made what looks to be a huge money grab, all for what is probably an extra $10M after taxes over 5 years -- which is how long it will be until they can make another one based on the F13. Stupid endeavor IMO.

I wish there would be an F12 convertible for us commoner tofosi though. But now there will not be. The price point of the 10 assure that this isn't just a launch version.

I know they are working to keep the desirability of Ferraris high. Because their production is destined to remain low. At least by other car company standards.

I suppose we are to drive the new California then.

Still, I'm looking forward to seeing it tomorrow. It will likely be a long, long time before I see another.

    Too bad.

Nice design, agree about the exploitative price.

    Enjoy the 12th.

Ciao Luca - you will be missed my friend.

While i dont see why it's so expensive, the buyers are not being milked. I can bet that this car will sell for more if and when an owner decides to sell.

of owning a Ferrari V12 convertible has just been shattered. Only 10 made...all sold. A price of the estimated $2.5-$3 million is just a tad out of my budget. :(
It makes the LaFerrari look like a bargain!

Guess I'll just have to be content with my 458 Spider which has a hard convertible top and can be driven with the top up at 198 mph. :D

(Sad to think that the boys at SF are putting energy into a project like this instead of building a competitive F1 car) :(

Phil why not find a 550 Barchetta or 575 SA? Those are probably more in the price range you're talking about.

I think the chances went way up with the new boss. He has already sighed over the 10 car limit of this project...

Truly stunning car, definite echoes of the 250 Zagato on the front grill.

What is really sad for the rich (IMO) fools that buy this car is once all 10 sold Ferrari will likely start full production of the Spider F12 but call it a different name and change some minor details ...

Agreed. I am a buyer of an F12 Spyder with Cali style roof meaning a car I can use rather than display and I suggest a soft top limited to 80mph would not sell as a mainstream offering. I, for one, would not want it.
