It's impossible to photograph the 308 and relay how giddy I get standing next it, let alone driving it. Sure we all look at the photos and say nice looking car, but then you see it live, tiny yet big, over the top styling, in your face color. I smile every time I pass by mine, when I take a picture, I'm always disappointed I wasn't able to capture the emotion.

    I am still new though

+1 -- nothing makes a 308 look better/more exotic/sensual than being parked next to an "ordinary" car.

I've always felt that these cars look okay in photos but amazing in person. I also agree that they look even better when surrounded by regular cars. Even "big" Ferraris like a Testarossa look petite and extraordinary in a parking lot full of Camrys and Impalas.

Well, try sitting in the car with a big smile & have someone else take your photo... might help?

    Cheers,

    This.

Great photo from elsewhere on FChat. Note the 328 is in the foreground of the photo so looks slightly bigger than it is in life compared to the 575.

I concur sir. I have yet to see a picture that really captures the presence of the car like looking at it in person.

A beautiful car with the most God-Damn awful door mirrors! :(

I'm so glad UK 328's don't have them!

Boom! Fantastic picture. I agree with the OP though. Very hard to capture the special nature of these cars in a photo.

    I agree.

The 308/328 is a gorgeous car that isn't photogenic.

It looks much, much better in person that in static pictures.

I too have always been disapointed when photographing my 308. Never look good as in real. I also smile when I look at it and feel very proud of owning it.

    We are Lucky man!

From everything I've seen in this thread, the 308GTB is VERY photographable!

I agree 100 percent. For some reason when I take a picture of my car it looks nothing like what I see in person, in fact it's worlds apart and makes no sense.
