Hi folks. Just bought tickets for the F1 race from a local Ferrari (and car) fan. He's friends with one of COTA investors, and bought a bunch of the supposedly best seats available since it was in construction (you can tell me if true or not :)). But at least they're in the CLUB section, so $1,200 (+ fees) face value, and he sold them to us for $1,000 each, since he's can't go this year. Similar ones on StubHub and Vividseats are in the $2K range, so a good deal, we think. Oh, and he also included front row seating at the car auction by the Four Seasons on Saturday, so a nice perk :). We seriously considered the Ferrari tickets for $4K from Marlow Miller (thanks a million for your help, Marlow), but without pit lane access, we deemed they were just not worth it, especially arriving late Friday. I'm curious who can attend the 'Paddock Club Pit Lane Walk' tours listed on the race schedule. Not even Ferrari tickets include that :(.

Anyway, one ticket is attached so you can please tell me if it's just like any other ticket. Or that 'PSL' means something special indeed. What the heck does it stand for? Thank you folks. Also attached some photos of his incredible museum. He has 8 Ferraris, and just bought a 250GT, a Daytona, and an '89 V12 F1 car on the way (from Monterrey, Mexico), so he'll have 11 soon. He was more into old classics, but has been extending his collection with more modern cars lately. Always a pleasure to talk to folks with such knowledge. We spent all morning there, and seemed like half an hour. Oh, and the Ferrari race simulator was a blast. Only could post 4 pics. Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and thank you for your help.

Thanks a lot for the explanation. But other than that, no special privileges, so they're like any other ticket, right?
And yes, knew there were cheaper tickets below, but wanted the best available (mezzanine first row, or club), since this might be my first and last F1 race... unless F1 goes back to screaming NA engines :). Couldn't justify $4K Ferrari tickets, but definitely wanted great seats. These awesome club seats costs us the same as the mezzanine we were going to buy, so great. The ones close to ours were over 2 grand each, so we'd have bought them around section 204 and higher up, for around $1,600. It was good that we ran into this guy. But wish it was even earlier though: he had just transferred his FourSeasons suite to somebody else for $1K a night; the same we paid at the Hilton Austin (downtown). They were sold at $5K when they were available. Oh well. Can't be double lucky, right? Ha ha. Hey, thanks for the heads up on those lower tickets anyway :).

So what's the deal with that 'club'? Do you have to buy into it, or is it something the teams distribute to VIP? Just curious. Thank you for your help too. And I keep reading people only going Friday and/or Saturday, but not Sunday. Guess I'll find out the hard way why. He he. Awesome that you have paddock club passes man; enjoy it. That's what I like about MotoGP; any ticket holder can buy paddock passes. I'll attend in April, and will ask this guy if he can order the tickets for me; otherwise, if you want good tickets, you have to buy from scalpers. I promised to myself decades ago never to buy tickets from a scalper (don't want to be part of the problem), and glad didn't have to break that promise with this :). Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
