    Hey guys,
Last night I turned off the garage lights after parking my F430 for the night. I noticed that the window switches on either side of radio stay lit. Also the radio has a blinking red light. Is this normal? Could this be the reason for battery drain?

The blinking radio light is normal. The window switches should go out or so I've been told. They stay constantly illuminated on my car and I have been trying to isolate the reason.

I had to get my window switch issue fixed months ago. 1 hour labor. They should shut off in 5 minutes. Turn on when you pull door handle even if car is locked and should turn off in 5 minutes. The issue if I recall was because of the passenger door handle from inside.

Checked my window switches again today. They are still illuminated 24 hours later. Any ideas as to what I need to do? I leave windows open while in my garage, key is not in the ignition. Would open windows have anything to do? Strange.

24 hours is not normal. Sorry, ignore my earlier response. I thought it was just a few minutes.

seems like something in the window/lock circuit is faulting. I had the same issue, it ended up being one of my door handle micro switches.

Are these switches on exterior or interior handles?

Interior handle issue. I think it's because of sticky parts. Like I said, mine was fixed for 1 hour labor

How complicated is it to get to this switches? Is it worth trying to clean them with contact cleaner? Or better to just replace them? They cost $115 from Ricambi. Is there a left and a right? Or does the same switch fit either side?

try cleaning first. easy. just pop off the inside door molding that covers switching. I did at dealer. 150 bucks was easier than me doing it.
