100% agree,, how can you have an enjoyable race where a driver/car starts from the pit lane and still manages to come second..or where a driver/car is at the back of the pack after the first lap and still manages to come second where there is no safety car..

I'm just sick of hearing that either Rosberg or Hamilton have had the drive of their lives,,
Put them in any other car on the track and let them do exactly what they are doing now.
Yes I know someone has to win but as far as I'm concerned the real racing is from 3rd place on..

Between the 1 and 2 car race and the engine noise or lack of it,F1 is becoming less and less enjoyable..

I really appreciated the year where we had the first 5 or six races won by different drivers and cars..

Me too. Every other team did a poor job. End of story.

Surely we do not want F1 to be handing out rewards for mediocre performances ... oh wait they already do this when they changed the points system to give points almost down to last place ... :(

That is true. But not allowing the teams any in-season development (engine-wise) is utter madness.

The result is that we know the result for the year after about two races.

You misunderstand my point, which is that whenever one team has a sustained advantage, F1 soon change the rules, for the sake of the show.

This is a sport which likes to pretend that it's innovations find their way into road cars, but the truth is that any genuine breakthrough quickly gets banned. Think Lotus double chassis, Brabham fan car, etc, etc.

This season's drivetrains are a farce, all about EU political correctness and greenwash. Radio messages telling drivers to "respect the beeps" because they're racing too hard and using too much fuel. What a joke.

    Well said. Couldn't agree more.
As soon as I witnessed GP2 first-hand I realised what a joke the current F1 cars are.

I wish a billionaire would come along and introduce a new race series starting with F1 cars from when they were last really cool (any year suggestions?) and allowing development along those lines, with no concessions for "green" crap.

Just the fastest, loudest cars with the best drivers.
You know, what Formula 1 is supposed to be.

It's hard to argue that they're not substantially more fuel efficient though, which is one aspect of "greenness". I don't think F1 has to fix every issue, but if they can show some progress, surely that's a positive? I thought a fuel efficiency formula worked well (entertainment/racing-wise) in Group C, so it's not impossible!

I think the "respect the beeps" thing is going to be disallowed under the radio regs next year anyway. Seems like one of those things that will always happen once the technology is there, unless you specifically ban it - of course the team will help all that they can!

Yes, imagine what Bernie would have done when Cooper turned up in 1957 with the engine in the back!

Totally agree, if you have a dud power train to start off with why should you be stuck with it for the season. Can't figure that one out.

Losing the WDC/WCC because you've tried your hardest is no disgrace, but losing because some **** says you can't improve is a bloody disaster

The season is now coming to an end, so it is fair to look back and think about the year.
There have been a few really good races, and some decent overtaking but overall you'd have to say some of the changes they've made this year have been pretty disastrous.

The sound of the new cars is, simply, crap. They MUST do something about this.
Anyone who thinks that the sound is not much of an issue is not in touch with reality.

The ban on development is idiotic, and has made the "battle" for the WDC/WCC an absolute yawn-fest (unless you are a one-eyed Ham fan).

The 100 litre fuel limit is open to debate. I can see some sense in it, but I can see NO sense whatsoever in limiting the FUEL FLOW. Why not just say to the teams "you can use 100 litres. The rest is up to you". If someone goes nuts during the race and then does a Jamie Whincup on the last lap, so be it.

    Feel free to add more...
