Went on a nice drive over the weekend and finally got over 60k miles on the 360. Got home and daughter's boyfriend said "your right tail light is out" Great...stupid tail light bulbs can't last 60,000 miles on a 1999 car ! geez...bet that will cost a whole dollar to fix.

    Car is AWESOME

Only the F1 cars have this problem.

You did not mention you probably changed 3 times the engine because Ferrari engines usually explode above 20K miles....did you? LOL

this is my old F430 2 years ago...and she did 12K more before leaving...

Do you have to pull the engine on a 360 to change the tail-light bulb?

I think you do on a 360 but not a 430. Something about the filament containing rubber for the 360 bulbs but something about a chain based filament for the 430 bulbs.

Until the Germans forced a redesign the Bentley GT required a motor pull to change a headlight.

Are you guys crazy?! These aren't driving cars. These are looking cars to keep the miles extremely low to make them desirable to the next owner

I love all these comments about driving our cars vs keeping miles low. My favorite comment on this topic (not in this thread) is not having sex with your hot girlfriend so her body is nice and tight for the next guy. In both cases.....drive... and drive often.

well, didn't the dealer, or some do-gooder here warn you of the dreaded taillight failure issue that only the '99 360 is vulnerable to before you bought the car? :D

BTW, congrats on putting real miles on your car. I had about 37K miles on my 360 when I sold it a few years ago. OF course, my car was a 2000, so it did not suffer from your taillight malady and fetched a handsome price as a result :D :D
