Hiding the true nature of the car's history is not a great way to sell a car here. What could possibly be the reason for concealing things from a buyer other than hoping to trick someone?

The seller should just come clean about the status of the car, and then potential buyers can make a decision. Refusing to answer questions about the reason for the salvage title is just going to turn off most people here.

I think "the first $20,000 takes it".

Thank you. It is long past silly as some just can't come to terms with being told no. Shower

Me thinks you must not thinks much or read so well. A few I have allowed 2 cents credit for their input dropping the price to $29,999.98

In your case,? no credit for your 2 cents worth.

I will say this again (and again) I do not need to sell the car, I do not have need of the money, I do not truly want to sell the car and the reasons have been stated over and over again. Someone will get a very good buy on a beautiful Ferrari, and, it won't be the first, second or even the 10th $20,000

I once viewed an anonymous blue 348 for sale that was worth approx the 25/27k price, irregardless of title pedigree.
I do not bash blue, pink, green or any other color of owner choice on a car.
I just take it that all Ferrari's are red. Enzo certainly thought so.

We must stop calling this thread a train wreck, but instead a car wreck... on a salvage title, of course.

This is by far the funniest thread I have ever read on Fchat....

It is abundantly clear that you don't NEED to sell the car...cause if you did, this would be the exact opposite way to go about it!

Actually, the more I think about it, why even offer that "piece of paper" with the car?, sell it to someone who just wants to look at it in their garage....I consider many cars a work of art....no need to title it at all...

    .....now try that marketing strategy!

Trick anyone on chat? No hope in that, best be left to others.
I have come clean...it's none of your business, I have answered questions, and, Believe me, believe me, I wish a few people would just turn off...................
Others, it would be a shame to miss the fun....altho I did give up golf, had no driver anyway. Only cosmetics were involved.

So give it up, all the explanation anyone is going to get unless they show up to look at the car, then is will become known to them and can be blasted all over chat, served without a napkin and by then someone will have missed out on a beautiful 348ts

CATS? I have 5 so have you covered there too.

This car shown in carfax from Calif is not the same car as I have for sale. mileage is 49k compared to mine with 28k. I am the one whom installed the wheels after purchase, also mine is a 1992 not a 1990...nice try tho, just the facts are wrong.

    Tom,

I never said the car (1990) in the carfax posted was YOUR car. I said the cars were similar (obviously as per wheels and title history) that perhaps the person who THOUGHT he had at some point seen YOUR car might have it confused with this OTHER car...thats all.

Best of luck with the sale, it's obviously been a tough road around here. And again, you obviously don't recall, but I made you a serious offer around the first of the year and had you accepted it...

Honestly good luck with the sale. It's a clean, well kept and serviced 348 with a little story behind it, but there is someone out tere for the car, just tone down your selling approach and people will be more responsive.

Technically, 'irregardless' is a word. It can be used interchangeably with 'regardless'.

Not entirely true. It is a word, but not generally accepted as proper usage. Regardless is the more correct term.

But irregardless of that, please feel free to use it. :D
