Personally don't like or don't like as drivers?

 

No difference in my book. Their personality makes the decisions for their on track behavior.

 

Not knowing them in anything close to personally I'll stick to on track behavior and not add another layer of speculation.

 

Me..Alonso and Hamilton..both cheaters and big mouths.....
Kimi rulesz..and i do like Seb, he´s very, very good...Ricci is rapidly becoming one of my favourites....JUles was another, so sad what happened..I also believe the Hulk to be top notch, i'm afraid the poor guy won't get a brake...how stupid, we see unproven guys like Magnussen, Kvyat, and other geting top places and super talented guys like him geting stuck year afte ryear in midfield teams...what a waist.

It's amazing how much value some here place on the driver for producing a good car. Maybe Domenicalli might be the reason the team never did well while Alonso was there?! He came at the beginning of 2008 when that car was already done, which was a carryover from 2007 anyway. Everything subsequent has been rubbish, which Alonso has made look decent. Alonso's bad luck that he drove for Ferrari while Domenicalli was boss. As nice a guy as he seemed, the only good he did while managing the team was bring Allison back.

I think Mattiachi and Allison will get Ferrari back to challenging for wins, and some here will give Vettel more credit than he deserves. Though to be fair, some also give him less credit than he deserves for the titles he's won.

Spanish newspaper AS reports that Alonso has signed with McLaren/Honda. An official announcement is expected for the Austin GP.

 

Well Andreas, my spanish is a little bit rusty, I confess, but I do not read it like this, so I have to disagree...
They do not say that he has signed; they say that "it is the most probable outcome".

No surprise to me IF true, he wants to win, as I have always maintained, if his spat with RD can be put as water under the bridge, a Mclaren Honda Fred combo, IMO will probably put him within shouting distance of achieving it, whether Vet can work miracles at Ferrari is another matter.

Hamilton will be his main nemesis.

 

I never understood why people bring RD into the equation. His role changed and that feud was so long ago. Money fixes many problems

 

Yes maybe you're right, and the fact I have been on here too long hearing that Ron D was totally biased to Hamilton, has erred my judgement.

 

Honda is the only place Fred can go. Impo he will not get close to the top step be lucky if he got a stand
