Ferrari LaFerrari vs Mclaren P1 vs Porsche 918

Yesterday, on the almost 2min Kialamy track P1 beated the old mp12c with only 2sec on the first day and 4sec on the second day of attempts.
Go figure, what will happen with a serious car of today...

There was no first and second days. If you want to report something, at least quote the original source without spinning it the way it pleases you. It was from the same attempt, early in the morning on a cold track. Chris Goodwin did a few laps and set this time. Imagine what it can do on its track tire, the Trofeo R! ;-)

 

Quattroruote is testing the 918 and the results will be in the November issue. As the only magazine in the world with their very own test track, I agree with REALZEUS, they will have very good data. Here is to hoping they will test as well a P1 and a LaF.

Go figure, what will happen against a serious car of today...

Is it better now?

 

i expect someone tell the p1 was in electric mode only ....

 

Or in race mode when it should have been in normal or the opposite again. Or that the driver maybe had the boost and the wing on manual when it shouldn't have been so. Or that the track is not representative of the majority of the tracks, it was dangerous, a little wet, or the tyres, the moons, the aliens, the butterfly effect, Murphy's law, the subprime mortgage crisis, the relativity theory, the view of the afternoon, ...

 

Or that the p1 was faster than the 918 in the last h2h

Oh nevermind that was a real test with real results, carry on

 

LaF was noticeably missing but the 918 with AWD was faster to 100 mph than the P1. After that, the P1 continued to increase it's lead by up to almost 7 seconds at 200 mph. I read that the electric motors in the 918 go off line over 150 which is why the p1 smoked it from 150 to 200

It might be just a game but the producers of the game helped Ferrari developed LaFerrari on simulator.

I think it's fast on Top Gear track.

I'm sure it can go faster.

Also, 0-300km/h also around factory specs ~15.5 seconds.

Hybrid sistem its simulated also. Nice to see how electric engine works.

 

McLaren was,at local Rosewood hotel yesterday so I stopped in for a few pics.

Have to say the P1 looks bada$$ in the flesh! Great paint jobs. But I see what folks say about the interiors being meh. They look nice but not warm at all. They gotta do better.

Definitely, it turns out quite pale. Especially side by side to a LaF.
I would arrive at a hotel in MtCarlo in a LaF but not in a sports shoe like this macca.
Mcl F1 still classic. And must admit the F1GTR was a brave racing car.

What comical is how bad the driving is? Couldn't car and driver higher some pro driver to test. Video has several drivers doing laps.

Watch the Audi RS7 lap complete fail on braking apex etc.

E63 S is scary bad.
