40th anniversary of the 308

I am pleased to announce that during the traditional "sport & collection" which will take place in spring 2015 on the circuit of the "Val de Vienne" (France), will be celebrated the 40th anniversary of the Ferrari 308 with some special events dedicated 308 assignments to include dedicated tracks.

Perhaps we should seek events worldwide - particularly in October to commemorate the unveiling at the Paris Motor Show (a quick google does not yield the exact date - anyone ?)

 

In now days, in the Paris motor show, as far as I know they do not commemorate anything ...

By the way, it is an excellent opportunity to have a great event in the "Sport et Collection" !!!

We have two original cars presented in October 1975 : a "Giallo Fly" one on Pozzi area and an "Azzurro metalizzato" on Pininfarina one.



Coming as the descent of the 206/246 but with a V8, the 308 is, with its fabulous design and awsome driving experience, one of the best know Ferrari !

OK so we can fix the first public appearance as Thursday October 2 - should this be regarded as the launch or were there also pictures released on Friday September 26 ?

The OP forgot to mention that he's talking about the 40th anniversary of the GTB, not the GT4. Both happen to be presented to the public at the Paris salon, albeit two years apart.

So that is really the "official" beginning date for my 308 GTB/S/Bi/Si/QV series

I didn't know the GT4 was present at the 1975 show as well. So Bertone kept it all those years?

 

I was told is was on loan to Bertone to display

The car was owned by Ferrari SEFAC till sold directly to customer

 

We should have a nation wide or perhaps a state wide 308 40th anniversary celebration here next year. Anyone want to plan or organize it? We will give full support.

 

I believe that the it will be at Monteray/Pebble Beach 2015

I would have been 2014 but Maserati 100 years trump it

You are right : GT4 was born before but 1975 is for the GTB
Of course, all the GT4 are welcome in "Sport et collection" with 308 GTB 40 th anniversary and will have a dedicated parking near the GTB/GTS

You wrote the circuit Val de Vienne, but in the link they talk about the circuit de Lurcy Levis. Which is correct? Merci.

Can't find a program of events for the 2015 weekend only for 2014, am I missing it somewhere?
Do we know yet what 308 specific parades/events there will be over the weekend?
