Nice pic of my 330 GTC. I drove it 150 miles yesterday, including a couple of errands. It ran flawlessly.
I was quite disappointed in the Anniversary Aventador being chosen as best of show. The 330 GTC was far more impressive (IMO) and there were definitely cars there that I've never seen in person prior to the event (Qvale Mangusta, Alfa 8c).
It looks like a great turnout and weather. Did the guy with the Hummer show up with his stereo playing patriotic music? Jeff
Congrats Boardwalk on another great show! Perfect weather, people, cars and hospitality. No Hummers with loud music, and unfortunately no La Ferrari yet. Hopefully soon. Great job Don and Carolyn Rose for winning Ferrari Best of Class. It is great to see "Ole Red" out on the road again. Beautiful car. I've been waiting to get the pictures below for comparison. Fun to get the last of a model together. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks for the vote on the 330 GTC. I was surprised more vintage Enzo era cars didn't show up. I had a blast. And thank God there was no Hummer racket!
"akbarber...Here's a link to some pictures I took at yesterday's Concorso." The one weekend I had to travel on biz all autumn. Arggh!! Great pictures, Andrew. Made me feel like I was there T
"Tillman...Qvale Mangusta" Wow. That color combo (black over terra cotta?!?) for the Mangusta looks nothing short of stunning in Andrew's photos T
Jimpo you didn't notice that Don and Carolyn have his and hers Ferraris Thanks Don P. for the acknowledgement I think that Grigio Media 458 Spider was an amazing color. Somewhat similar to the about same color Audi that was behind it with the black wheels.
As always Boardwalk did a great job hosting the event. There were a bunch of cool cars there and it was nice talking with some other members. Unfortunately there weren't more Enzo era cars but the 330 gtc is always nice to see. I am looking forward to the spring show!
I wonder if the operator knew there is a airpark community flight line within Boardwalk's airspace just across the street? Good thing no close calls but it might have made for some interesting video footage. Attached Images Image Unavailable, Please Login
I invited a friend out that is a contributor to the blog, Fatlace. He just put his little photo story about his recent trip to Dallas. Here's a link to the post with a few pics: Pleasure Before Business in Dallas | Fatlace? Since 1999
