    One can purchase a new Ashtray for a 348 including the cheap housing around it that keeps breaking? I looked on Ricambi's website and they are not available.

    I had a user just contact me, look for an original, intact, ashtray to make a scan of and start producing 3D copies.

    Sounds like a good idea to me.

    It seems they aren't available anywhere.

    What do you guys think?

    I just sent you a PM regarding the Ashtray but that would a great idea for so many of us 348 owners. I have been searching high and low for one and it seems no one has one.

    Yes, a 3D print sounds better. But I do wonder, will it become sticky with age? If it doesn't get sticky, it isn't authentic.

    Albert has agreed to buy the original, AND have me send it to the user who offered make the 3D copies first.

    If the 3D guy agrees to send it to Albert when he's finished scanning it, then it's a done deal.

    Albert is going above and beyond here, and (assuming the 3D copies are well-made) because of him, anyone that needs a complete ashtray will be able to get one.
