I think by this spring low mileage Scud red with Alcantera interior fully optioned with stripes will be solid above 200,000 with a perfect low mileage no story car between 210 to 225

That is an interesting price range bc at those numbers will cross with high MSRP and low mileage 2010-12 458s. I think there might be some resistance at those numbers. Sold my perfect 09 low mileage red SCUD for Speciale and deeply regret it. Should have kept and had both as they are both awesome in very different ways.

2009 Scuderias in US are currently $199,000-$225,000... the $225,000 Scud has only 1,900miles on it.

there are many Scuds with asking prices of $145k, $170k, $177k, $179k, $179.9k ... and these are from dealers.

Fast forward a year plus - and this didn't happen, did it?

Sure it has , and don,t let the lower price one fool you , there the ones that have the problems like high miles or heavy track and bad carfax the good ones are now selling 200k and up you couldn't of said that a year ago ,

Asking price of $177k for 11k Miles From a Ferrari Dealer which is usually the most optimistically priced sales

    2008 Ferrari F430 Scuderia 11,195 mi. $177,000

Yea but it's a car nobody wants... Lol the desirable cars are going over 200k ... Desirability equates to red low miles 09 stripe with black alcantera and highly options with no stories.

For whatever reason, black Scuds just really seem to be worth a lot less. Personally, I don't get it, but it seems to be borne out by the prices and how long they sit. The Scud Pricing Model seems to still be pretty accurate.

How many Scuds were produced ? I keep looking at the production chart in Cavallino, but the number is never listed.

IMHO: Most prices of Ferrari cars go down for awhile then when the demand increases or low mileage and pristine models are becoming fewer each year, the prices go up eventually. Look at the Dino now...

most don't want to wait 25 more years for Scud to reach Dino status though

So you're saying nearly 1000 scuds have been wrecked? Not sure I see how you go these numbers.

Why would anyone install a heavy (any tacky IMO) custom sounds system in a lightweight, noisy car? That scud is now sales proof.
