I took my 550 into Crevier BWM to have it some body work and painted from a small accident. The place was on my insurance list of places I could go. The estimator looked at and photographed the car. He said he would e-mail me his estimate.

I have attached his e-mail. If it is not in the computer the good German company cannot do it.

Nuts! I do live in the 21st century.

    Subject: FERRARI ESTIMATE
    Hi Mr. Duesler.
Unfortunately I was unable to write an estimate for the damage on your Ferrari due to unavailable data in my system for your vehicle.
If you have any questions I can be reached at 714-835-3171 ext 5198.

    Best regards.

    Haha
Bart, one of the problems with the 21st century is too much dependence on computers. They couldn't possibly think out of the bag. Probably some kid doing the estimates.

Unfortunately the people doing the estimating today are on a lower pay scale. They write a guesstimate by checking off boxes on a screen then the bodyman and parts dept take care of the repair.

Good for regular cars not for Exotics or classics

Hey Bart....Did you have any ancestors who fought the British for freedoms from a royal government?
