I wanted to say farewell and thank you to my F430 friends on this forum. You were extremely helpful when I was evaluating F430’s and you provided me with great advice when I purchased my first Ferrari, a one owner CPO, 2007 F430 Coupe with 3k miles in May 2013. But after two fun driving seasons I have purchased a 2012 458 Coupe and will be moving to the 458 forum.

Like a first girlfriend, I will never forget my first Ferrari. It put a smile on my face every time I drove it and I have great memories participating in FCA events, trips to Road America and drives on the back roads of Lake and McHenry Counties in suburban Chicago with my son. One of the best memories was participating in the 2013 FCA event with Ronald McDonald House at Autobahn County Club in Joliet IL, giving rides to people at touring speeds. One of my passengers was a 16 year old paraplegic girl who could not stop smiling for the entire ride and encouraged me to go faster. After the ride her parents thanked me for fulfilling her dream of riding in a Ferrari.

Attached is a picture of the F430 I traded in and is now for sale at Continental Auto Sports in Hinsdale, IL. If anyone is looking for a clean, well maintained F430 this is a great car.

Nice Post Mike and best wishes with the 458. Drive it in good health, 430s are terrific cars and it is a pleasure to own one.

Very nice, I just purchased a 07 430 as well and I have a smile on my face every time I drive it. I had been looking at a 360 at Continental before I changed my mind and decided on going with a 430. I got a call from them last week, asking if I was still interested in a 430 because they just took a super nice red/tan 430 in on trade. It must be yours. Good luck with the 458, keep us informed on how it goes, I may want to make the upgrade myself.
