I looked around, but there wasn't really a fitting place for these pics. It's Thursday anyway, so I decided to just go ahead and start a race thread.

I went out to the Red Bull Demo yesterday. Here are a couple of pics...

    Here's a little change that seems to run contrary to "common wisdom";

    Didn't see that one coming.....

    Cheers,
    Ian

T10 is potentially one of the 2 or 3 most dangerous places on the track, imho.

I certainly respect your opinion here - You're a *lot* more familiar with it than most of us after all!

And is the reason many of these areas now get tarmac'd over of course!...... Not sure why they're doing this?

    Cheers,
    Ian

Leaving tomorrow morning, but will only go to the track Saturday and Sunday. Thankfully not interested in autographs at all, but was surprised you need to almost beg for passes on Friday to maybe get an autograph (not even the drivers being there is guaranteed). Thought you just got there and kind of make a line and see if you get there on time.
Anyway, will leave the track Saturday right after qualy, for the auction near the Four Seasons. And be there since early Sunday to watch the second races of both Ferrari Challenge and Porsche Supercup.

Hey, with seats at section 210 (row 6) of the Club Main Grandstands, is it worth trying to get a good spot at the track for the podium ceremony, or better stay there? Thx.

This didn't come without significant expense...... A new 'anteater' nose rather than the 'twin dick' used all season. Be interesting to note how the two compare.

(Scotsman, hope you don't mind me copying your pic here.)

    Cheers,
    Ian

Apparently, it wasn't FOM that requested it but rather the bike guys.

I took advantage of a free car rental that I'd earned, will keep the miles off my personal car. I got lucky, its a Chevy Cruze Rally Scuderia....

Don't let anyone from Chrysler/Fiat see that.

    They might get ideas.

The TV ratings, at least in the US, should be interesting....going head-to-head with NASCAR.
