I did not notice a specific reason mentioned. Certainly a 'different' direction etc will be heard/said. I do wonder if he will return to management via his father....
I see the straw man arguments are out in force once again. All of these things that are attributed to me have never been said by me. If you really have to attribute a false position to your opponent and rip it apart to give your arguments a semblance of credibility then not much I can say to any of you. Point being if you were to address the things I actually said, rather than making things up, you would find that my points are quite valid. Remember this entire fiasco began because people absolutely were enraged when I said Lewis is the statistically most successful British driver. That remains the point. Then you have people like Ian saying Lewis is not even fit to carry Stewarts jock strap - implying he is far below him. But of course, not a single reason was provided which is not surprising. Sounds like someone is a blind stewart fanboi. Ironic how he calls me a blind fanboy when I actually have well reasoned arguments. The hypocrisy is strong. All statistics are merely a starting point for determining who is the BEST driver. A detailed analysis is required for more. In terms of who is the MOST STATISTICALLY SUCCESSFUL DRIVER then that is based on statistics alone. Consider all the statistics for this one. Look at how crazy the American crowd is going!
The pass Hamilton made on Rosberg will go down in the history books... they always try and play down his accomplishments but he is simply the worlds best driver at the moment. Best Regards
For sure. As time goes on and he keeps dominating it will become irrefutable even to the blind. Earlier in the season they were saying Rosberg was better than Hamilton but they soon shut up and have now conceded that Hamilton is better. Give it a few more seasons I never do that lol...
Lewis had a great result and a fine race but that pass wasn't historic. Alonso at Spa. That was impressive.
Lewis at suzuka was pretty epic. few other passes too. Better than this one but this one was still very good. From very far away and positioned the car beautifully.
Best driver is never easy to say but fastest car/driver combination at this point of the season is Lewis in the MB.
Everyone said that about Vettel last year. Fast forward and he's not even a blip on the radar except when it comes out that he's leaving Red Bull to go the disaster known these days as Ferrari. Webber is gone all together and won't even be a blip. How often do people talk about Barrichello? Hamilton is a good driver and he will most likely go down in history as one, but i think come next season/2016, he'll be like Vettel, a memory. It all depends on next years car situation.
5 wins in a row is historic. Number 6 and 7 will be more so... Maybe he'll catch up to Vettel with a more competitive teammate.
On what basis do you say that? Chances are merc will be the best car for a number of years and Ham will be in it winning the races. Vettel has never proven himself in an inferior car. Lewis, in his years in an inferior car, has always been there.
Winning the Italian Grand Prix in a Toro Rosso ring a bell? Remind us of the years Lewis had to toil in an inferior car? Started in the best car on the grid for the first 2 years of his career (just like Jacques Villenueve). There is not a driver of the grid currently that would not trade Lewis for the great cars he had the opportunity to drive, if the 2009 McLaren was the worst car he had to drive, life was not too bad for him.
Which inferior car has he proved himself in? I don't recall him winning any championships over the last 6 years...
