Can't believe someone would actually waste their time to shop that.

    Nope. Dimensions/scale is wrong.

The car is one of my ex's. Originally white - one of 5 Australian delivered QV's. Dave is partial to yellow, though not to everyone's taste with the red interior - he tells me he will eventually (after clocking up a few K's and stone chips) re paint it white and put the original rims on..

I had the wheels custom made designed and manufactured in Sydney by Nick Pap (the guy currently building the "Spartan" sport car) - sand cast centres to replicate the Bravo rim but larger - I was thinking of modern rubber and brakes back when it mattered how fast your Countach was!!! There's more detailed info and pics on the wheels earlier in the thread. A couple of flared countaches an LP400 and a Urraco have them. Five sets were cast. Here's the LP400 - again :)

Original paint? This car looks quite nice in that metallic red colour. Similiar to Miura SVJ #4892 maybe?

Certainly original paint, close-up its not in good condition (images are posted earlier in this thread).

I think its a different color to the Rosso Granada that several SVJs were originally painted, but I don't know what its called.

    Lush!

I have a gold wheel itch that has to be scratched. Seeing that picture posted by Joe, think I'll have to get the wheels on my red QV painted gold.

    Good idea or ? ? ?

Make yourself happy but I would leave original spec alone.

I do as well. Easily changed back. Resale, yes original wins. So be safe & buy an extra set!

As much as I like 100% original, painting wheels is not any kind of big deal. Anything that can be undone, and undone easily as that, is ok with me.

Why not just plasti dip them? You can peel it if you want to go back to stock.

The gold wheels would probably look good if you had a tan interior. They would be in the same family.
