A collection of icons, I see the 288 GTO lurking back there.

I'd first take the 288 GTO out, then the 275, then the F40, F12 and CS... :D

I'd take them out in chronological order starting with the oldest, and appreciate the development with each successive drive.

Joe's comments some time ago about EE plates on Ferrari models (such as the GTO) for export got me searching>

The USA market Ferrari F40 delivered new to Gentry Lane Ferrari in Toronto Canada was displayed there with it's export plates still attached. Plate number was EE.853.AU

Joe you might have the chassis number in your notes. I believe this is the F40 that was damaged at Mosport a long time ago. Later repaired and sold at auction in the USA some years ago for 600 + k?
The Gentry Lane 288 GTO was also run at Mosport in the past but escaped unscathed. The GTO street tires were replaced with some other tires for the track time at Mosport which might have helped. One of the reasons the cars were run at the track was as noted before they could not be registered for street use. Though the F40 went out for a cruise through Yorkville one night on 'dealer' plates!

That last picture looks like Csaba Csere at the wheel. Great pictures. Is there a more perfect sports car shape? I think not.

    Hi Joe,good morning,

    I am Rene Bouverat,from Chamonix-Mont-Blanc.France.
I already take part to this forum on the Boxer,512 section.
    I own BB512'76 first (engine0006),Testa '85,F512M'94 and F40'90.
I am looking for spares for that last car.
    I need a complete standard,original braking system (4 calipers,hand brake calipers,pedals,hydraulic compensator,fittings,hoses,..all original )
I also need a set (4 pièces ) of non adjust shock absorbers + springs.
Do you know of individuals or companies (or yourself..) where I could find such parts ?
    Thanks

From where you are, I think you'll be best contacting Ferrari Classiche @ Maranello.
