i tried searching around and had no luck on my 360 w/ tubi muffler - stock headers with cat removed - stock cat it seems like the inside of the car is still really quiet in comparison with the sound outside the car i really want to enjoy the overall sound of the car but cant enjoy it unless i have to get a friend to drive it while i listen from the outside which is ridiculous! just thought i would hear some inputs - maybe decat is the solution?
Don't laugh..... Microphone placed by exhaust and spliced into audio system ? Just like people do Utube on videos, just run sound through speakers. M3's play a soundtrack through speakers, so not my idea.
My Capristo Level III is pretty loud, inside and out. It's difficult to know if it would work for you though.
My 01 360 Spider w/ TUBI is way quieter than my 90 348TS w/ Nouvalari tops up. I was surprised at that.
I have the same problem with my stage III Capristo 😜 Fitted on a euro 360 it's insanely loud. Wouldn't have it any other way!
Agree I had a coupe, then got a Spider with Ferrari racing exhaust, pull the valve lines (and cap). Much better
yep this is mine 2nd gear through a small tunnel [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZmRi7h4ztGE]Ferrari 360 Capristo - YouTube[/ame]
A local, and no longer active FChatter had a 360 with a 430 exhaust which had the valves opened and it was, by far, one of the loudest Ferraris at our events and drives.
On my first 360 I had Tubi exhaust everything else stock and I thought it was just the right level of loud... My current 360 has hyper flow sports cats with Tubi exhaust and the sound is just sublime ! However, I'm realizing as I'm getting older, that the noise level sometimes becomes a little much, especially on long drives... I need a nap afterwards. But in small bursts, the car is intoxicating... That and my wife hears me coming from 3 blocks away... Could just imagine hoe my neighbor's feel when I leave early in the morning... Anyways, all this to say that you should consider all this when deciding how loud you want the car to be.
