To put things on a factual basis, the lowest priced 348 ts here on the other side of the pond is this one:

Ferrari 348 Spider / Cabrio als Cabrio/Roadster in Lauf a.d.Peg.

Comparatively high milage, not advertized as "accident-free" (means it had one and not just a parking dent), needs service including belts. No history at all, no manuals. Price is about 37,000,-- USD.

This would make the car advertized here even interesting for Europeans, provided that it can be registered without problems with the existing US-paperwork. If I wanted one, I would just take a cheap flight over the pond, look at the car, make a few days vacations there and decide to buy or not, if the vendor agrees to take the car on a lift for detailed inspection.

P.S.: And provided that the communication upfront is a bit different as from here ;)

I am fairly new here so please hold back the broken bottles being thrown in my direction..... But my two cents here is very clear as I read through all these posts.... And it was summed up here in what this person wrote - " As it stands I would not refer anyone I know to this seller or his car. Who could given the story line of this thread?" Did a person of reasonable intelligence just write this? Please do not be offended because I think if you hear my logic you may very well agree..... "Story line on this thread?" Huh?? We are on a chat site that is completely 100% opinion and not one person here has posted one thing factual that they spoke to Andy Falbo or any other person who knows this car personally so every thing posted here so far is 100% hearsay. This is like saying "I heard from my best friends brothers girlfriends mom's next door neighbor....." Blah Blah Blah .... You get the picture. The owner feels he has a cool car and his opinion is that it is a mint condition car. I happen to restore cars and I have brought back cars from the dead that had "clean" titles... And I have seen cars with very little damage get marked titles due to all of the reasons stated earlier on this post. I just have one question for every single person here with an opinion..... Has anyone called the owner and went and looked at the car? Maybe made their own opinion of this "mint" condition car? If that answer is no... Than I will rest my case 100%.... Blame can be placed on both sides of this equation..... Just saying..... :)

Now what a novel concept...go see the car and judge it on it's own merits rather than insisting on degradation of something you know nothing about or have not seen, touched or observed in first person. The buyer of this car is going to be extremely pleased at his/her good fortune for a car while you try fitting a boot to your backside for lack of effort in allowing merit for judgement

Thank you Tom "Fountain 4 ever"
    A post worthy

I will assume majority blame here for the ongoing controversy, however, I will still refrain from spilling the beans/balls about a golf club.

Honestly, the worst thing about this thread are those hideous wheels. So it's a salvage title, relatively inexpensive 348. So what? Just drive the piss out of it for fun--but only after you put better wheels on it. hahaha....

Well Sir, you buy the car and put whatever style wheel you want on it or better yet, buy the wheel tire combo of your choice, send them to me and I will be happy to install and run them on my car just to please you.

Great thread...from both ends. Bottom line is where can you get a 348 for 30k? If you can look past that piece of paper and check for yourself. ..you could have if it weighs up a great car. When you pull up at the mall no one asks if its got a salvage title...theyll just say wow what a car. Im not in the market...for 1 its wrong side of the pond to me. 2. I already own one:)

Red and I had a great outing today. She streached her legs and cleared her throat on a sunny cloudless day in Az. and not a single ask or mention of her pedigree.
We both returned home, pulling into the garage and sat listening to her contented burbling purr while she sat, sated and content as her owner fell in love all over again with "Red."
    A great day

I hope others having read your post will not condone what you have done by making such an offer. So What I will do is accept your offer as you stated. Please make all communications public and open so that the others whom you "outbid" and scared off may see just what type person I am "dealing" with.
I await your confirmation and your word sir and praise your "intent"
