It seems fair that we have a thread like this for Lewis, seeing it exists for other drivers too. Please keep the bashing on this thread. I don't want to see Lewis being bashed or lauded on a thread involving a technical analysis of an aerodynamic or pu development. Detractors and fanboys can use this thread. The fanboys in fact can have a competing "I love Lewis" thread for all I care. Just stay on the respective thread's topic please....
2012 called....it wants its thread back! This is just an effort to flame, obviously. Given the already polarized nature of the board around Hamilton, I don't quite see what the point is.
+1 The signal to noise ratio really has fallen thru the floor over the past few months. Every damn thread seems to get polluted with the same BS. Its a shame. I guess we had a pretty good run before the clowns took over. Probably time to move on. Ian
Exactly ian. It's the same bull****, and those of us that want to have legitimate discussions can't. It's like walking into a bodybuilding.com thread. We get it, you hate hamilton or insert other driver. Just give it up already.
I have asked this before and I will ask this again: Why aren't the mods more active? You find amazing forums in the research communities where the mods are the key to discipline. People have gotten banned/blocked here for what I remember valid reasons. But these problems have been minor compared to the current nature of the board. The mods are watching (if they are) open eyed the departure of what has been a great environment with very decent people.
These negative threads from people in the peanut gallery are meaningless. Some here speak like they have experience driving an F1 car..........
But in any sort of activity, you don't need to be able to do the stuff to criticise, don't you think? I am no politician, but I can judge them. I cannot act or sing, but I would criticise an actor or a singer. I cannot race F1, but I am surely allowed to have an opinion about some drivers. Life would be terribly dull if we became indifferent to everything around us.
I remember a comment by comedian George Carlin. A c**ksucker is not a bad man, it is a goooooooood woman!!
What about it, William?? Isn't he right? We all know little, some of us more some of us less. But some have a tendency to be present in every discussion with rather harsh comments, while only being armchair experts at best.

That must include the journalists in the motoring press as well, right ? Anyone has the right to judge anybody, OK? This is a free world!
By the same measuring stick; the only reason Marussia hasn't won a GP with Chilton was because every built a faster car and have a more competent driver.
