Yes, I was thinking about Plasti dip as very easy to revert to the original colour. Maybe a spring project. R

That is my thought as well. Black interior on with red exterior silver wheels. Tan interior with red exterior gold wheels.
Yes. I'm not in a place where I can check but off the top of my head: 1121002, 1121016, 1121100, and I'm sure there are more.
A very nice S Series 1 is going to be sold at RM Scottsdale. 1979 Lamborghini Countach LP400S Series I | Arizona 2015 | RM AUCTIONS
If it is the car, it was done to a very high standard but by an unknown shop (as it relates to their vintage Lambo resto experience). My favorite color for a low body. It did not have the small gauges so not the first of 50? Being a 1979 it couldn't be. The Bravos may not be correct for that car. Maybe Joe can chime in? Also what kind of spare is that? Looks like it's placed upside down? Is that tool kit correct with the hammer? Is that an amp next to the battery, never seen that before? Any guesses on what it brings? Geno
That's what the registry says: "Originally with Bianco interior. First owner Par Karmanger of San Jose, California, USA. Then Shane Dickey. Interior changed to Black. Wheels painted Tahiti Blu. No wing. Enthusiast owned. California, USA registered MI SPEED. Car damaged in accident in 2002." Very nice colour! Even better wiith the original white interior. Maybe am I a little biaised...
Geno I think you need to read this thread from start-to-finish! First 27 LP400S had small Stewart Warner (LP400) gauges. First 50 LP400S had Bravo wheels, so that includes 1979s up to 1121100.
Yesterday I found another Acapulco QV #FLA12861, with Grey hide, from Germany. Had my ignition box and interstingly the cabin Ventilator in the front was like on a LP500s. It also had the oil cooler mounted in the front what was claimed to be original but wasn't since the stud in front of the left water Radiator were in place.
That's been my car for the last 12 months. I haven't seen that pic before - must have been with last owner who first put it on UK plates. Any more...?
a few nice countach to end the week end: The first one brings some colors to brighten the mood. The 2nd one has always been stored in a climate control garage, never seen rain. If if you are doubt full about what is going on, remember that what matters is to own one. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
