    So I guess the "ant-eater" nose will be banned next year. Does that mean all the cars will have to have the full long sloping nose similar to Ferrari? Has there been any talk about making anymore attractive? I think there have been a few incidents of submarining so I'm curious if there's any chance of going back or meeting in the middle with a design similar to last year.

    What about fuel? Alsono said there was no way he could have battled with Seb because he didn't have the fuel to do so. That's just stupid. These are simple, very evident things that F1 has to change. The cars need to rev to the full 15K and they have to be given the fuel flow and fuel capacity to make it useful and race competitively. Any rumors on this aspect?

    As far as I understand it is most efficient to operate way below 16k for limited fuel flow rate. If revs go up but flow rate remains, you generate less power per revolution but increase the friction on the system -> doesn't really make sense to go there. Point is: They designed the engines for those conditions and limitations. Without further knowledge I wouln't be surprised if changing fuel flow limits would result in re-design of the system to a certain degree (just the motor internal thermal management comes to mind directly).
    I do really enjoy F1 these days and think the new rules generally do work. But I also immensely enjoyed the mid-90s with re-fuelling and Schumi's sprint stints. That also was awesome.

    Personally, I didn't enjoy refuelling.

    I am even against mandatory tyre stops.

    Anything that artificially interupt the racing, I am against.

    I want to see a race among drivers, not a competition among pit crews.

    GP didn't use to have stops before - they spoil the racing.

    I would keep all options open. You can change tires or run mediums the whole race. You can choose to refuel or not, its up to you.

    For next year, the best way to describe how the new nose is to basically look would be stating it's most like the nose W05, only extended to about the middle of the main wing plane rather than pushed back so far which is how the MB nose is currently configured. So continue the same horizontal plane in its downward direction towards the main wing plane. They will be a touch lower.

    The spec was to run a max of 15K but the fuel flow doesn't support that. They can do it, but it doesn't generate more power because of the restricted fuel. I understood as they can certainly run at 15 or higher if they wanted. I'm just wondering if the FIA is gonig to change these things.,

    It's Brabham under Gordon Murray, I believe, that introduced refuelling during GP.
    Murray calculated that a car could run faster after a whole race if it only carried 1/2 or 1/3 of its fuel loads, even taking into account the time lost in the pits.
    The lap times would be more constant over the whole distance than with a car starting 120/150 kg heavier at the start, and would be kinder to its tyres too.
    Brabham was owned by Bernie Ecclestone who pursued the idea until if was adopted by the FIA.
    It has since been banned.
