Saw TRutlands had exhaust bibs for 308s. Ordered one. Mine is badly rusting, the vents were dented & slightly twisted & was hanging on by a thread.
Getting the old one off was easy.
Getting the new one on wasn't so much fun. a couple of the holes were a smidge off.
    But she's done.

After the new arrival on Sunday spent the day completing full engine service, gearbox oil change, full component check before firing her up for the first time and oh was it worth the 10 week wait from over the pond!

This weekend full suspension, steering rack, brake change etc ready for interior revamp in a couple of weeks

Sad day! I changed the oil and put her away until spring. My parents were kind enough to offer a spot in their heated garage.

... I thought the standard procedure for winter hibernation was to lay all the gardening tools on the top and lean the bicycles against the side?

Totally agree, should be able to take it in/out with not too much fuss....was more to keep the critters out in between drives.

I don't know about anyone else but my gt4 loves cold weather! The heater will bake cookies (which my wife loves) and it is dual zone - I can turn off my side and close the vents and roll down the windows while she has all of the heat on her side...

What a phenomenal drive! It was like a giant Laguna Seca stretching for a 200 miles, with multiple cork-screws in the mountain passes, but no Andretti hairpin to ruin your fun at the end of the long straight-aways. And did I mention no traffic? Of course I wouldn't take a 30-year old F-car there during the summer months, but this time of the year it's great.

I would recommend avoiding the three-mile-long stretch of gravel between paved segments on Trona Wildrose Road however... Got a little dusty with the roof off.

Picked my son up from school with the top off. It was cool (45F) but certainly comfortable. I know the days are numbered but I will take what I can get!

Removed AC unit from under dash. Took it apart, cleaned out the old crud and drain. Caulk and rivited back together. Install it later this week. The drain was closed off with crud. All else was good.
