Some of the early testarossa cars have the aerial going up from the centre of the roof is this factory. they are rare but you do see them. I think they look good. or are they aftermarket?

Where is the factory antenna in a TR? I am guessing in the glass?

An aftermarket windshield is about $1700.00 with no aerial
A factory windshield is about $4900 with aerial
Some go with cheaper glass and install aftermarket antenna for less than half a new fact shield

My straman had an aftermarket windshield with no aerial
There were uneven waves in the outward vision so i priced a new F glass
The radio in that car never worked.
    But the cassette player did!

Yes. Any version of the TR never had an external antenna. All were built into the windshields.

    why so confident...
there is still debate as to whether the Testarossa came with double high flying mirrors from factory or if they were fit aftermarket

Because we simply know ... thats simple ...

And there is no discussion about two high mirrors ... they never left the factory like that.

I know the winshield on my car has been replaced because it is dated 2011 or 2012 IIRC. I don't see any antenna in it but the radio works. No external antenna either. I haven't look if there is a hidden antenna somewhere under the dash.

We only have weather station to know if the roads are closed or not. If any bad storms are coming our way etc. Train schedules.

Seriously we have good radio stations. In fact better than the Mont-Laurier area. We have Radio NRJ and more.

We even have TV ;-) , can you believe it!

Mmmmm...If I put a right hand flying Mirror, could I hide an antenna in it? ;)

My 86 TR has one flying mirror, and an antenna on the windshield. Previous owner for some unknown reason, (nutcase!) installed an antenna on the roof !.. and I don't even use the radio, I'd rather listen to the roar of the engine!...

Maybe for an old school cell phone set up in the car. Have a look, for some reason some of that old cell stuff is worth some money to some people.

I ripped out a complete car phone system out of a TR from the early 90's. I was gonna throw it out, but a customer saw it in a pile on the floor beside the car, and gave me 100 bucks for it all.

When I drive my TR I never listen to the radio! The best music comes from the screaming 12 cylinder with louder than stock exhaust. I know there are plenty on here that do the same.

I tried to listen to the radio in my Ferraris but I can't. I NEED to hear the sound of the car. On long trips in the Mondial I was able to let the radio on for a while but not in the TR or 308.
