If ordering a brand new 348/355 today - Would it be red?

Agreed.

While I love some of the other colours (458s in particular look great in most colours) I reckon if I was hovering over the order form I'd do a Clarkson and wimp out and order red.

 

The 355 looks best in black

 

That is a great question. I would really struggle with that decision for sure. I know what I wouldn't want so that would narrow it down.

I recently saw a 458 spider in what I think was barchetta although to me it was a bit more maroon but I could be wrong. With a Cuoio interior. It was stunning.

I guess you're talking 348, as there's no such thing as a 355GTB.

Come to think of it, there's no such thing as a 348 6 speed either, so what do you mean?

If i was to order a new 348 or 355 today i whould choose a F355 GTB in rosso corsa red manual gearbox.

If I could order new today it would be Nero / Cuoio (with black carpets)

 

Just like wine....most people choose red.

 

While it's not badged that way, a Berlinetta is a GTB

 

To me red is just running with the herd.

 

Growing up the Ferrari that I chased in my dreams was Red. There is no way possible I could have chosen a different color than the car I dreamed of owning.

 

If it was meant to be my first Ferrari, I'd definately go for rosso corsa. If not, I'd choose black (over cream, which I actually did) or yellow (over black).

I was just being pedantic. A manual gearbox Ferrari 355 hardtop is an "F355 Berlinetta"
That covers everything except the colour.

I will answer that I don't know. I'm sure I would lose a lot of sleep over it and change my mind a hundred times.

When I was searching for a car to replace my GTS I was trying to find something unique but ended up locking in a deal on another red/black car.

A nicely kept example is gorgeous in just about every color I've seen so it's hard to pick a favorite.

Of course I will love the red car but don't think I would love it any less if it were black or blue.

 

TDF or Monaco Blue over Tabacco leather with white stitching...
