Under 200 liters? Aaah.. that explains why I topped up "only" 137 liters from half to full
Nick, I changed my fuel pump to Bosch fuel pump (mainly used in MBZ and BMWs), the fuel pressure should be around 3.5bar coming into the engine and about 3.1bar return.
The first time I've heard of an auto manufacturer having a 95 liter error on the stated fuel tank capacity
The tank is 155cm wide, 30cm front to back, and 60cm deep, but it narrows 25cm from the top, and the sump in the bottom, I have just drained mine, it was 25cm from the top, so just the tapered portion had fuel, 3 x 25ltr drums + 2ltr, that would total 193ltr, say 200ltr, collecting the pre pump filters later today, then I can put it back together & check fuel pressures. Those aftermarket wheels are just about the silliest things I have seen!!!!!
Ah.. my mechanic said mine was OK, he just cleaned them up. I kinda wish I replaced them too but my fuel pressure from both pumps are OK at 3.5 bar so I guess my old filters work.
This is the Bosch fuel pump I used... Haltech guy said he used this in many of his projetcs. 300 liters per hour is quite sufficient for a standard car. Bosch 0580254044 High Performance Inline Fuel Pump 044 300LPH Racing | eBay No affiliation with the seller, just a sample from ebay

The Polizia was going to stamp the "broken on the road" loyalty card. After ten stamps You get one free tow back to the factory.
"During road tests, Wallace often engaged in informal competition with the Ferrari and Maserati test drivers, either directly or through timed runs such as the 105-mile distance between the Milan and Modena autostrada toll booths." And Balboni's teacher , Bob Wallace from New Zealand. I always thought it odd that a Kiwi was their chief test driver so he was obviously good at his job. He was from the same batch of drivers that headed to Europe and UK including Bruce McLaren and Denny Hulme http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bob_Wallace_(test_driver)
Yes it was Wallace during the early days of the Factory. The original team was Ferruccio Lamborghini, Gian Paolo Dallara, Giotto Bizzarini, Paolo Stanzani and Bob Wallace. Image Unavailable, Please Login
