We will wait for Big Tex to sell the car and do it all over again.

BT hasn't logged in since he posted that he'd buy the car a week ago.

    Seems odd...

If it doesn't involve something that we can make pun of (get it?), then forget about it.

Just turn the dial to off, switch the channel or watch the news or read a paper if you want real foolishness to register in your life.
Me? I thought OPUS said it all and best..but someone killed that as well.

If a legitimate offer was made (IF) it has been left to float in the electronic ether world.
The offer person has a mail box to full to add to, get a response from, or make contact with and has not logged onto the site or Ferrarichat since making such a post to buy.
Readers of this thread make of it/that what you will. I could not bear the burden of being warned again by Ferrari Chat for my insulting words/behavior to members of such moral upright standing in the written world. As I have stated, I have had "road rash" less abrasive than some of the comments posted to me, so contrite and subdued I shall remain and say only that dear readers, establish if a posted bid is BS (bidding story) or drivel of constipation and diarrhea of the mouth, for I choose not to judge til the facts are posted as factual not just as others would have it mean to fit lip movement and the narrow spaces they reserve for thought.
"TEX" now has the floor and an attentive listener (reader)

FWIW, I thought Tex was serious, and that his offer was tacitly accepted by you, since his offer was above the minimum that you said you'd accept.

    I concur.

On a separate note, if his offer was not serious and it was some sort of sick joke, that's really poor form on his part and really casts a black mark on the classifieds section here and somewhat to Fchat as a whole, although to a lesser extent.

This might be my first post on FChat. I'm just starting to look into buying an F car. This car is right up my alley. The bad thing is I'm about 9 months to a year out from buying and am just doing research and reading. In my mind a salvage title on a car is like an airplane with a previous gear up landing, if repairs are done correctly it doesn't bother me in the slightest.

I hope this car is still available when I have the cash in hand and wife is convinced that we need a Ferrari!

Yes thats true, but I meant that that one item is not the entire reason this thread is dissapointing, the whole thing is from many angles.

But hey, it's also genius because Tom (the seller) gets free and constant bumps to his ad ;)

You know what? Say this for Tom: the man has a been a good sport about the whole thing and I hope that he gets what he's asking for on the car.
