    Arancio Canguro = Rosso Miura

The Canguro was just mentioned on the PPG label. It's how they keep it in their internal system.

Similar like they use Verde Scandal which equals Verde Miura.
Basically all of those names are OEM descriptions.

BTW I'm now about 95% sure that both colours I've created samples for were used as Verde Miura. However it also seems that most cars were done in the lighter version.

Will post back after I find more. I'll ask reconfirmation on this at the factory.

    Will do Olivier.
BTW I'm continuing my quest for the Verde Miura details, I now found that the colour description for the darker green should probably be "Verde Chiaro" also called Pistachio Verde.
I think it was also used on the Urraco and Espada.
Tomorrow I'll be in touch with Sant'Agata again to cross check with the trim & paint specialist.

    Piet's former 4659.

I believe this is the car used for the staged images at Bertone for the 500th car built - production Number 500, build Date: April the 24th 1970.

    Imaged in Hong Kong.

    Hi All,
As you should perhaps know, it's currently the annual Vintage Car Parts promotional period at the Factory.

So, from now up to December 19th - via your Official Lambo Dealer - you can have a 40% discount on the front 215/70VR15 and the rear 255/60VR15 Pirelli CN12.
    (Respectively parts Ref.005205208 & 005207807)

Just FYI, in case you were still hesitating for your SV...

That looks like a Japanese supplementary (post-production/non-factory) ID plate, which makes sense because this Miura is last known to me to reside in Japan.

The location of that plate would be visible from the windscreen.

4440 was originally Oro Metallizzato, but was repainted Arancio. These images are from it in Japan.

Just wondering if these cars were manageable back in the day. Did you need weekly service? Things break easy? Did Rod Stewart have to stop for petrol twice a day?
