Red & tan 599's are definitely sale proof, a non-red UK or HK 575 would be more liquid than a red 599, of course at a minimum $25K discount to an Aus delivered car.
That's the most ridiculous thing you've ever posted...in fact, it might even be more ridiculous than anything I'VE ever posted.
I don't think 575 buyers would be considering a 599 anyway, different market separated by about $100k
Its all about value, which is so subjective. Let me explain-at around $120-150k, a 550 Maranello (in Blue Sera or Nero with Bordeaux or Tabaco Daytona seats) would just about be my favourite Ferrari to buy. Bang for buck, style, performance and all round general desirability, I would take one over any other Ferrari, 458 included. How's that for ridiculousness! My favourite all-time great Ferraris include 365/512 Boxers, Daytonas, 246 Dinos but to ME, they arent worth 2-3 times the price of 550 Maranello, let alone a Daytona, which is many multiple factors above a 550. So Ian, if a 599 and 550 were the same price, which car would you take? Surely on performance, youd take the 599? Why did you buy a 575 over a 550?
Let's make things perfectly clear....EVERYTHING about a 599 is better than a 575....everything. Drive both and see for yourself. No one in their right mind would buy a 575 over a 599 unless money was a consideration. A 550 is a different story.
I don't agree. A 575 feels quite a bit smaller to me at least. The performance difference is a mute point here, anything quicker than a 348 is a waste. The 599 is a whole 25cm longer in the wheelbase compared to a 575, and it feels it. Added to that is about a 3cm increase in overall width and 5cm in height. The 599 is also about as attractive as a smashed crab, though it's passable in dark colours like grigio or blue. Each to their own I suppose.
You're mad if you don't agree with me. 599 looks better. the end. Better performance, better gearbox, better handling and braking, nicer interior, nicer sound, more comfortable and roomy......and more, but my typing finger is sore.
Well, the looks are subjective, the better performance I'm not disputing, but you didn't read what I wrote.
