Thanks CW. Beautiful PP Chrono as well. My Father passed away a few years ago and had a nice collection of timepieces. It has taken me a long time to get to the point to start wearing a few of them. He would have wanted me too, but it was just too hard at the time. Does not make sense to lock them away. They need to be exercised.
Sorry for your lose. Yes, get them out and wear them. Good for you, good for the watches, good for carrying on one of his passions. I have a 1920s gold pocket watch from one grandfather and a old gold 1950s Omega dress watch for the other grandfather. Love having them.

Today - as you can easily verify at the full calendar - the IWC Da Vinci Image Unavailable, Please Login
Great watch. I recently discovered the "4 Seasons" Da Vinci with a toubillion movement. Only 20 of these were produced, and a 'double' chronograph Da Vinci Rattrapante. Da Vinci's are beautiful.
A Waltham trench watch worn by the father of my wife's cousin in the trenches of France 1917 - 1918. Now that is what you call a "perpetual" calendar, or at least a perpetual watch ......almost 100 years old and still working. It makes me feel young when I wear it. Image Unavailable, Please Login
