    Eurospares were selling the bodyshell from a very early car
    Some years ago. It was painted in dark blue (sera?)
    And it had the same nose treatment.
    I think there is a picture on the ghibli picture thread somewhere.
    I seem to remember Bart commented on the difference too.

    I think that car is AM115.114 which looks similar but the images are not quite so easy to interpret on the registry

    Yes I did and that body also had a dropped section between the rear lights.

    Wow, I'm impressed by the work that's being done. I hope I never have to endure this level of fabrication on a restoration. It's great to see the process. Thanks for sharing your journey.

    The journey continues!
    Here's the rear quarter lowers which often corrode. The right hand side is good except for a small section just under the wheelarch inner which will need a small repair. The other side is fantastic but the rear lower under the fuel pumps will need a new section, probably from the centre to the rear right corner where the water that has sat in the boot has soaked the sound deadening and rotted the panel out from the inside

    who knows what ended up happening to chassis no. 1229 the yellow RHD spyder 4.9 SS went to auction in 2011 and no sale..?

    I'll be watching that last one. Personally I would be quite surprised
    If it makes the same money as the blue RHD 5 speed SS which changed hands
    not so long ago. Still, it will be an interesting market barometer if it does.
    Bet you are pleased you took the 'Ghibli plunge' with prices like these Julian!!!
