It wasn't revved very high but did have a nice "mechanical" sound. The gentleman who was the caretaker said if the engine gets damaged there are no replacement parts, so he was being gentle with the engine.

That is an insanely cool photo! Couple questions...what is parked next to the 904? Almost looks like top is down - convertible? And what is to the left, looks like something expert folks here could recognize? Also note 4 pair of skis?? Wtf? Norwegians take their skiing seriously. I used to race up to squaw valley from the Bay Area in my '66 911 and my skis fit inside the car from passenger footwell to rear shelf...not the safest thing if I crashed for sure. I just dug up some photos...me being a poser, this is the 80's, we all painted our fuchs body color. I'm relieved big snowflakes are blocking the '80's Hasselhoff Hair Helmet' Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Good catch Bill - I should have noticed that the slide #'s were not sequential (#5 and #13) and were not of the same car. Here's the exterior of the 356 interior photo. Hope it was saved back in the day. Image Unavailable, Please Login
356B or C cabriolet on the right, 356B T-6 or C coupe' on the left. You don't see many photos of 904's with hub caps in place.
