As usual Ferrari's biggest obstacle may be Ferrari.

Probably me too....the fanbois still can't accept that if you're not proclaiming Lewis as the second coming, then you're against him and a biased Nico fan.

Personally, and I've said it many times, I still don't care which one of them won. I'm neither Nico nor Lewis biased, but try telling the fanbois that!

I'll bet they still don't shut up! Now it'll be how much more Lewis could have won by if Nico hadn't cheated and taken him out and how next year he's going to crush Nico to a pulp and will go on to win the next 10 years in a row.

Of course, I'm never going to tire of needling them :)

This was was about as exciting as the rest of the season -- aka it had ZERO.

Congrats to Lewis but to be honest, I'm glad this awful season is over.

kobayashi set 13th fastest lap today - only 0.007s slower than the best by Alonso.

Quite the pathetic showing by Ferrari today...

I don't think it means very much. Does anyone really drive flat out at any stage through a race?

Disappointed that Nico wasn't at least able to fight. If he could apply pressure, there would have been a small chance that Ham would have made a mistake. But overall, it was Ham's season when it counted---during the race. So he earned it. Hope he is crushed next year! :D

And please, with all the talented engineers in F1, let's work on the engine symphony a bit more.

The Speed guys were gushing on endlessly what an extraordinary season this was. I didn't get their point. Glad we can move on.

It was so boring that I FF from lap 15 to 50.

Glad it's over as well. The cars look and sound awful.

So the season is over, the WDC is the one who won most of the races and therefore is the deserving champion.
Unfortunately today the ERS-failure took away the tension to early although it did not change anything at the end but the race would have been a litte bit more interesting.

Great to see that Rosberg was fair enough to congratulate Lewis before the winners ceremony despite his own dissapoinment, maybe the rivalry was not as bad as press wanted to make us believe, apparently they were friends in the past and live in the same building...

Even when people worried about the complicated engines this year there were not as many DNF as expected...I have not seen all the races but was the ERS-problem just a problem of the engine of the Mercedes-GP or also of the clients engines at Williams and others?

Although they use the same rules next year I think there are even more questions coming up for next season than for this making one want the start next season rather sooner than later...

Will Mercedes-GP be again as dominant (I think they were even more than RB ever as it was from the first to last race)?
Will Rosberg fight for the title next year or will he become a number 2 driver like Webber after his first and only shot on the WDC?
    How will be McLaren-Honda?
How will be Vettel at the Scuderia?
Will RB fight back or are they done with Newey stepping back and the Renault engine?

Today I learnt that this season saw more overtakings (more than 800?) than every season before but I had the impression we saw less than 20% of them on TV, so there is much to improve for the TV producers...Most of the good racing was in the midfield but we rarely saw it.

It was fun (at least most of the time) here in the forum, now it is time to move on as apart from the final pairing at McLaren there will most likely not many facts coming up but mostly predictions and speculations over the winter...

Anyone comment on Alonso and Button fighting for position --- at McLaren next year? ;)

    The season of ERS failures.

Ironic: Failures let Rosburg catch Hami, failures kept the last race from being a battle.

Can we relegate ERS to Formula E, now?

They already replace the car every race.

I could of sworn I responded to this. I passed out during the race. Not having ever been to the circuit I can say I'm not watching it again.

I'm not saying the track isn't entertaining but for the competition today - seemed very lakluster.

Congradulation to Lewis. Hopefully next season will be better.

The way you wrote that it sounds Hami got the title because he won the most races.

No, he did not win it because he won most of the races but he deserves it because he won most of the races...or am I wrong?

I will remember this season not for it's complete lack of energy and excitement married with a lack of drama but for the injuries to Michael and Jules. Yes, Michael was not a racing incident but his tragedy was a tough way to get excited about the new season.

Jules' accident was, IMO, just inexcusable.

May we avoid such tragedies next year and the future.

That would be a great McLaren team.

The ERS brake issue plagued them all season. You'd think that if it weren't a systemic flaw they'd have fixed it.
I'm afraid we've got this "green" "money-saving" formula for a few more years.

Or until MB gets bored with F1.

Three big questions for next year

Does MB management care anymore after winning?
Does Ferrari management care anymore, period?
    Honda? Great or goat?

    What hat will Alonso wear?

    Will Kimi get off Ambien?

Will Seb cry every time he sees a can of Red Bull?
