Already getting the winter blues and feel like I need to do "something". Has anyone done this? I'm only considering it because it's reversible. Not interested in what the usuals have to say.
I've thought about it too. I think it would look pretty good with the color of your car and the black wheels. If not, at least you can take it off. Maybe photoshop it first? I did that with wheels and it works well.
Erick (Extreme) did it and it looked good! http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/348-355-sponsored-bradan/439960-scuderia-stripe-f355-berlinetta.html
Exactly what I was imagining in my mind! With the color of your car and your wheels it's gonna look amazing!
Plus one on the post And Plus one on the quote! Do it like the blue scud. Gorgeous. My favorite scud combo. Robb
I was thinking of large red white green strips diagonally across the back of the car. Have a vinyl cutter so that will happen
I have been entertaining the thought of putting a Speciale-style stripe on my car. With green rather than blue, I think it would look great with my Rosso Barchetta color. It's reversible, as stated. Couple hundred bucks (?) so little risk. Go for it!
I love my spider, but envious of the look you get with the stripe on the B. I think it enhances the appeal.
Tip for those toying with stripe dreams: get some shelf paper at the hardware store. It come in rolls and has a tacky backing. Get the smooth kind, not the textured. Then you can cut out what ever shape you want. spray paint it, then (after drying), stick it on to get an idea. It won't contour perfectly on curves, but it's a cheap way to get an idea what stripes, flames, blackened lower body trim etc will look like before you spend $$ on something you don't like.
Another Member from Germany sent this to me. I'm not sure how I feel about it. Maybe the dirt, license plate holder and wheels is throwing me off? Image Unavailable, Please Login
I must admit after seeing the picture I am having second thoughts on it also. Sometimes pictures (camera angle ect.) don't do the real life look justice though. Might be time to buy a couple rolls of electric tape and crack a beer! From 20 feet might get your answer!
