Scroll down and read some of the replies, really funny. I especially laughed when I saw one posted that his first thought after seeing the car was the theme from Miami Vice (with a vid of the show intro music). Another one was freaking out that he was told a belt service cost $8,000. :)

Reading the replies...this one piqued my interest.

In googling the Classic Car Club 355 top tips, I found this article actaully written by the Op of the article that Jimmy posted. It was an interview with the owner of Classic Car Club, an outfit that owns a group of cars that they make available for their members.

SCroll down for the comments the owner makes about 355s and the three that he had in the inventory.

Five Honest Tips For Starting A Car Collection That Won't Lose Money

Two of them crashed and it was the top car at the time requested. SO you have non owners with no skin in the game driving the **** out of these cars and from that a summation by the owner of his experience in owning them under these circumstances.

Yeah this article was posted and few weeks ago here. This car is now in another thread debating all the stories it has. Funny they used this car for they article since it has been in a non running hurricane Sandy flood car that sold for $20 once and apparently had a major front end collision. Also a Euro car etc. I guess that is what it takes to get a 355 to a "great" price. Honestly I wouldn't pay $29K for it myself. If the people posting below actually researched that car they would be shocked. I wonder if the author did?

I like to see how much he knows about 355s talking about the "doglegged 5 speed."

I know - he knows nothing about these cars. just like the F1 gearbox - it's not a sequential gear box. It's sequentially shifted via the F1 system but that does not make it a sequential box (same gearbox as a gated shifter which is not sequential)

Angry?!.... Combative might be more appropriate!

I saw this on Jalopnik earlier today and reading through the replies just made me smile. You would be like a preacher stepping into an atheist convention there, pointless.
