The LaFerrari is stunning. Personally, I don't think it's that pretty of a car, but it's a stunner, and definitely screams "ultimate performance!" Not a huge fan of the Cali T either, but maybe once I see one in person I'll chance my mind.

It must have been epic to see them in person. I hope the rest of us get a chance to see the LaFerrari in person at least once!

What's interesting about LaFerrari is that it was designed in-house: Pininfarina was not involved in any way. Perhaps that may explain your concerns.

BTW, I am no fan of the California (T or original). Too soft for an F-Car, in my opinion.

I just can't believe someone is TOUCHING it in your photo. I mean, I know it's *technically* just a car, but still...

Believe it or not, the owner of the LaFerrari told everyone in attendance that we could sit in his Hyper Car, as long as we took our shoes off (socks only) and left our cell phones outside the car. He also stated kids first. Almost immediately after that, a little boy (sans shoes) raced up to the Ferrari and dove in - wish I had filmed it. :)

Since we were all invited, I guess there was a degree of trust. I was able to sit one of the 458 cars without begging. :)

On the other hand, this could actually be a subliminal message that you really dig the Boxer in the background. ;)

I looked on the FCI site for the Boxer (yes, I noticed it!) and didn't see it listed?

I believe it is a 512 BBi model. Not sure why it is not listed.

I was told the Boxer was there on behalf of it's owner to be Classiche certified. Also that it only has 300 xx miles. What a nice car.
