You'd think he could afford jeans that aren't ripped.

You pay extra for that!..... ;)

Sometimes, a *lot* extra!....... May be worth noting that I (& I suspect most of us;)) wouldn't be allowed in to the place in such garb however......

Good luck to the guy. He can wear whatever he wants, doesn't bother me.

    Cheers,
    Ian

I am actually surprised that his girlfriend (who is certaily into fashion) does not convince him to a more stylish appearance. When you see them side-by-side they do not really match or seem to share the same taste...

Seriously, is this really worthy F1 debate material?

I think so. If I were a Mercedes sponsor, I'd be inclined to reconsider my involvement.

    Sure. Why not?!?

That is the diff between wife & gf. :)

GF - wear what you want. Wife - I get consulting privileges on color and little else, and even that's limited since she knows my answer to all Q's about color is "Rossa Corsa".

Please close the door behind you - there are plenty of other sponsors waiting to take your place.

Personally, I don't like his taste in clothes, ear rings, or ink, but I recognise that today's youth have different perspectives to mine and that's ok. He's also at a night club…

Finally, anyone who thinks that the Sherz would let him turn up to an event like this in an outfit that she isn't completely happy with is also dreaming.

Really? You need to start consulting for Caterham, Marrussia, et al. :)

Re other's comments: Indeed, I 'may' be too old; but I'm old enough to know classy/classic never goes out of style.

How can I possibly be wrong? I said "If 'I' were a Mercedes sponsor....", i.e., me. Are you suggesting I am of two minds?
