Ferrari 355 GTB | eBay vin#ZFFXR41A9W0112146 The paint of this car is just horrible, scratches and spider cracks anywhere you could imagine Big cracks in the C-pillars Interior leather seems new Interior plastics are sticky (even the steering column cover) It didn't feel very fast but maybe I'm wrong Seller said that it had recent major but it was from early 2012 The F1 pump has been replaced with aftermarket and the ECU can't communicate, therefore the car can't be driven in fully Auto mode and there is a constant light on the dashboard illuminated. The gear indicator needs replacement. Rear tires will soon need replacement Hood lifters were weak
The gear LED is a common problem - Ricambi repairs these for short money... Hood lifters are $25 2 year old major is considered "recent" Sticky steering column is common Not saying I like the car, just trying to help you learn about these cars
I appreciate that, I'm just trying to list all the issues I saw for other potential buyers (to save them the trip). For me the deal breaker was the immediate need for a paint job (isn't that ~$15K?) and in the ebay listing the paint looks really good. I also wouldn't call a service which occurred 2 years and 7 months ago recent, but maybe it's just me thinking that.
ok John, could not resist....... That is why pristine cars don't sell for cheap (as in the prices you have been quoting)
I have been looking around for 2 years now, not as active as I had my money invested in various things, but I do believe what you are saying. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Not sure if this for me or John but I don't mind going higher in pricing as long I can find a pristine car. So find me a good red tan manual car for any kind of money and I'll get it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
That was addressed to John - we are friends and it was a friendly dig But, please put your first name on your profile, makes thinks much more personal
Hey GTB, Great job posting your recon on these cars after you have laid eyes on them. Very, very helpful to the community at large. Well done!!!
