Wait you said a legend. Not "Great" and in the litteral sense of the word it is not a legend. Learn how to pick your words wisely before you post on the forum and if you don't know how to speak English I suggest you get a dictionary my ignorant friend!

The CS is not limited to any number the 16M is limited to 499 I believe. The GTO is limited to 599 the Enzo is limited to 500 the LaFerrari is supposed I be limited to 500. The CS is not a limited edition!

Let the man express his opinion! Everyone has a different definition of legend. Bottom line is many people believe the CS is better (overall) than A SCUD.. just live with it haha. Don't be a CS hater. LOL

Wow!!! Looks like I hit a nerve!! Incredible that you have to resort to such behaviour in order to feel validated! By the way, I am not your friend as I have never met you, nor do I care to given your remarkable attitude!!

Many believe the opposite having owned and driven both - there is room for all opinions and they are all correct since we are splitting hairs with these cars.

As for what constitutes a legend, well my take on that would be a car that is known to the wider non car loving World who definitely haven't driven, owned or maybe even seen one in the flesh but yet know of the car - by definition these cars are rare and the title can't simply apply to all of Ferrari's greatest drivers cars. F40 would seem to fit that role perfectly, other cars less so.

I really think this is one where you have to decide which suits you best and then accept there are others who go the other way.

But that's a another reason the CS so cool. It was "unintended".

I think it's great you're comparing the CS to multi million $$ F40's and LaFerrari's. I'm keeping my CS til I die. I like Scuds too. As soon as I find the time to buy a 16M I will. 16M is my second favorite Ferrari that I can afford.

A Ferrari doesn't have to cost millions to be collectible..... Not yet at least. Muahaha.

    Hey ChalStrad,

Don't let any of these ankle-biters in the cheap seats piss you off. If you need to regroup, go out to your garage and stare at that beautiful legendary line-up... CS, F40, GTO, La Ferrari. Preferably do this with a glass of first growth bordeaux in your hand. Trust me, there's not an FChatter here, myself included, who wouldn't cut his pinkie off to be in that position.

And for the record, I have owned both a CS and a Strad and I am currently trying to reacquire a pristine example of each. There truly is no wrong answer to this way overdrawn debate!!!

I just made a turkey sandwich and about to walk out to the shop with a couple of grain belt beers to look at my scud. Always fun to read these threads, lots if passion. I wonder how many weeks will go by before someone starts another thread like this, seems to be every few months. From the frozen north.

I will trade a drive in my Scud for a drive in a CS in the PA/OH/NY track area. Just shoot me a PM if anyone is interested for next season.

    Exact! Amen.

For so many people the possession of a Ferrari is an affair of the heart. Therefore happiness, pride and satisfaction should never be compared with the value of money. Are rich people happier than poor people? Sometimes, and sometimes not. Are expensive Ferraris better than cheaper Ferraris? I would say it depends on the perspective of the viewer, it depends on personal expectations, capabilities and preferences, it's extremely relative.

The question is CS Stradale or Scuderia? There are measurable criterias and there are personal metrics, at the very end the decision is up to each individual. Just a small remark: there is always the middle, the way to like both. ;)

A small remark regarding the "legend question": Alfonsolaw never wrote something negative about ChalStrad's cars, he just challenged the usage of the term "legend". And to see only the F40 as a legend is a reasonable point of view, no cause for aggressions.

    Studies say yes.

Regardless, you can't go wrong with either car. The debate as to which car is "better" is pointless.

i guess you can't win them all.

well, Scud is a very nice car. Just add a CS to stable. Win/win.

LOL - what did I lose exactly? It's a pretty nice offer; amazing that you guys would take it and want to make an argument or an insult out of it. I mean, how insecure are people...really?

CS and Scud are too similar and I'm out of space and money for now. With Peter raving about the CS so much (in specific terms) it has peaked my interest - hence the offer. If it doesn't happen, it will be ok - there are about 100 cars I want to drive and I'm in no rush.

Not an owner, so please ignore the following observation:

Amazing display of apparently fragile egos in this thread!

Regarding "legend", that has always been up to the media to decide. Troubadours, newspapers, magazines, youtube channels, whatever is next.

I agree I just stated my opinion as to the F 40 and how I would agree that the car is a legend and how most of these other Ferraris the Scud included is not a legend. And some people feel the need to resort to name calling it's childish and I am surprised at people actions. I guess all the money in the world can't buy you class.

everyone has their favorites. imho the 599 is undeserving of the GTO moniker.

And as far as legends go, outside of the 288gto, 250gto, f40, f50, enzo & LaF there are no legends, just great cars.
