I hope this 2005 S will get a second life... but my god, it's been seriously damaged !!!
Get rid of the racing stripe 2005 Aston Martin Vanquish S S UPGRADED ASTON MARTIN WORKS UK for $89,900 in Oakville | autoTRADER.ca
I say "thumbs down". I am personally not a fan of the manual conversion or any aspect of the cars custom appearance mods (stripe, gas cap etching, shift knob, HREs, etc). The console was not designed for a 6spd and ergonomically the shifter sits awkward and too far forward and is just plain not needed...to each his own, but I am not one of the lemmings excited or gushing over a conversion car. Everything about this car screams Botched (silicone, Botox, fillers) cosmetic surgery.
Another 04 with the diamond cut brakes. It just seems most of the 04's I've seen have them. Low milage. IMO a good deal and in the "right color" at least for me Aston Martin Vanquish 2 Door Coupe | eBay
love to buy that one! anyone into a copar account let me know. However,at $7K the reserve is not met and i suppose there are auction fees. I suspect the owner wants much more. So may be that is a $15K car at least. Regardless if someone is also interested Pm me.
Good looking car in a great color combo (although very common) and right miles That one is definitely a SDP optioned car. You can tell by 1) Sport Seats, 2) Breaks, and 3) unique 9-spoke Wheels (all specific to the package)...SDP are the rarest approx. 400 total factory optioned cars. I have a like car in Meteorite (charcoal color).
I am having my Vanquish S converted at New Port Pagnell AM WORKS to Manual Gearbox and having the Works Exhaust system installed.
MM355: I have a AMWS converted Manual car. I do not want to make any negative comments about the paddle shift cars, but you will LOVE your car with the conversion.
Whoa. You dont waste any time! I have mixed feeling about the manual. Beside the expense,The look of it does not please me too much, too forward. And your is an S so it is the most involved conversion. I guess the only way would be to try one. Personally I like the paddle shift. It has be to adjusted right. They are more than good enough for road driving. I guess many complains came from systems in needs of reset or early car with the old sensor, non upgraded (that was a real disaster)
That is what I am always hearing, people raving about the upgrade. Certainly will add desirable in the future.
Stick shift conversion isn't an upgrade (for me), it's much more like a change (necessary or not) of the cars character - and it doesn't seem being more desirable. Sellers try to push the prices but it's very hard to sell a stick shift conversion. Btw, nice to see the an other AMOC guy here... ;-)

I came oh so close to buying one about 10 years ago. Kick my self now that I didn't. I loved driving it, felt really solid.
They've crept up in price. The car has 40,000 KM and the interior smell is really amazing. Nothing beats conolly leather. Summary of the car, originally it was RHD. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rA4MM8woDmc]Nicholas Mee & Co Aston Martin V8 Vantage X-Pack Case study - YouTube[/ame]
