I just saw the lot on Bonhams. Gorgeous luggage and priced nicely. However, it does say that is fits a 328. Will it fit a 308?

 

Yes: it is the same luggage set for both cars, as the boot dimensions are identical.

There is however the debate of "Euro' set vs US Set.
- some people maintain that the US luggage set was different from the euro one, that is the US cases were shorter in height to fit the less deep trunk of the US cars, this in turn coming from the catalysator under it, that the euro cars did not have.
- others think that there was in fact no difference at all between US luggage set and "Euro" set, and that the fit was simply tighter on US cars; or you had to lie the cases on their side.
This would be supported by the fact that in Europe, during the last year of the 328 production, cars with, as without, cats were sold alongside in some countries, but the luggage set remained the same.

I have a Swiss 328 - guess the boot would be identical to a US 328 since both has a cat. My car has a luggage set delivered originally with the car. If someone has a Euro car with a set I could measure mine to see if the are identical. I would guess they are

 

Some users equate post count to credibility.

Not true.

But the rule is there to try to prevent posting for that reason alone.
