Hello everyone. For the past few months I have been trying to get an allocation with a few dealers to no avail. Since the ordering book closes soon I was wondering if anyone knew of any allocations or should I give up?

I have been on list for 6 months. No allocations left in the US I am told.
But you never know about Ferrari. Maybe they will open up some????

Don't know about US but almost certain it's finished in Europe.

A buddy and I have both been offered speciale allocations from different dealers over the past couple weeks (if we buy a new FF at msrp).......I think they are going to be impossible to find unless you're willing to lose $100k on a FF.

Not too surprised since Europe got the Speciale a few months ahead of the US.

I wonder if that is dealers playing games or an edict ordered from above. I've been on the Speciale list since day one and sadly still waiting. Never been offered the FF deal.

It's my understanding that dealers are being offered additional speciale allocations as additional incentives for selling new FF's.

Yes, thats what both of us concluded as well. The few used I've seen pop up on the market have been listed for marginal amounts ($25k) over msrp. I'm betting once the 458T becomes available the used speciale inventory will increase dramatically.

My configurations are already in Ferrari's system, I am not sure when the production starts, but the dealership told me it's very likely arriving in March 2015

...and I am still waiting. And waiting. And waiting. My guess is that if I can't get a spot in the next 30-60 days, the chance is gone.

That seems strange if you have been on the list since launch!
I decided in April that I was buying, but dealer could not supply me till later in the year and as I don't use the car during the winter months decided on a March 2015 delivery, and my god am I finding it a long wait :)

Picked up FF from service and saw a Speciale at the dealership (optionally sale) guess that means if the price is right, LOL. If it wasn't for 2x private schools and college fees that are waiting for me I swear I would buy one today and hold it forever! Its epic in every sense.

Local dealer has only received 4 allocation spots. All 4 are delivered and I am waiting for number 5. Buyers in front of me have bought a lot more cars than me.
